Assembly

The luminaire arrives ready for installation and can be set up straight away. The LEDs are permanently integrated into the light so that no additional light sources are required. After unpacking, the light can be installed and put into operation immediately - simply connect and enjoy. You can find the installation instructions under "Instructions" - they are available for download there.

Switching on and off

Briefly touch the touch sensor (pin protruding from the donut) to switch the light on. Briefly press the touch sensor to switch the light off. The light is supplied with power via a wall plug and has no on/off switch next to the touch sensor.

Dimming

When the light is switched on, touch the touch sensor for a long time to set the desired brightness. Release it and the light intensity will retain the last brightness each time it is switched on. Important: For the memory function to work, there must be at least 20 seconds between switching off and on.

LUMIRA – Design, dimensions and light quality

The LUMIRA is a dimmable LED floor lamp made of metal, aluminium and mouth-blown glass.

Its warm white light at 2460 K creates a calm, homely atmosphere and can be continuously dimmed directly via touch control from 200 to 1700 lumens – flexible for different lighting needs.

The 145 cm high lamp with a lampshade diameter of 36 cm is suitable for modern living spaces. Chrome and black chrome offer two colour options for different interior concepts.

The permanently integrated 16 W LED is designed to save energy and has a lifespan of over 20,000 hours.

Wer sanftes Licht sucht um sich zu entspannen ist mit dieser noch dazu wunderschönen Lampe bestens aufgehoben. Wir haben 2 Lampen und gegenüber noch sozusagen einen Gegenpol, zusammen ergibt das eine tolle Stimmung. Wer ein Leselicht sucht ist damit sicherlich nicht glücklich. Gut Ding braucht halt weile, aber man wird ja im Vorhinein informiert. Vielen Dank!

FAQ

1 Are the light sources included in the delivery?

Yes! The lamp comes with built-in LEDs and is ready to use right away. You don't need to buy any additional bulbs – you can simply mount the lamp and start using it. The LEDs have a very long lifespan of over 50,000 hours and are covered by our 3-year warranty.

2 Are the light sources replaceable?

The high-quality LEDs are permanently installed in the lamp. In our experience, however, it is usually the transformers rather than the LEDs themselves that are affected by defects in LED lamps. These can generally be replaced quickly. If you ever have any problems with this, we will of course be happy to help you.

3 Can I dim the light using the wall dimmer switch?

No, continuous dimming via a conventional wall dimmer switch is not possible.

The light can only be adjusted by quickly switching a wall rocker switch on and off several times to cycle through three fixed brightness levels (100% - 40% - 10%).

Important: The light cannot be converted to continuous dimming by replacing the transformer either, because the LEDs are technically not capable of it. If you connect it to a dimmer switch anyway, the transformer and the LEDs will be damaged.

4 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return via our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.

5 Is the Lumira cable also available in a color other than black?

No. The Lumio cable is only available in black and is permanently attached to the luminaire.

6 Are small bubbles or irregularities in the glass a quality defect?

Each of our glass shades is manufactured using a high-temperature molding process and mouth-blown. This gives the shade its beautiful shape and creates a truly unique piece that makes every Lumira something special! Small bubbles or fine air pockets may occur - they are a typical feature of genuine handcraft and emphasize the uniqueness of each lamp. They are not a quality defect and do not affect the beauty or function of the product.

7 Can the Lumira also be used without a cable?

No. The Lumio requires a power connection.

8 Is the Lumira Smart Home capable?

Yes, the light can be made SmartHome-compatible if a smart ballast is placed between the socket and the power supply unit. There is a delay when the lighting is switched on. But not when it is switched off. However, the light cannot be dimmed via this.

9 Is the discoloration inside the Lumira rust?

No – it is not rust, but the natural oxidation of the galvanised copper layer. Over time, copper turns reddish-brown to greenish, which can look deceptively like rust. True rust only forms on iron or steel. Your lamp is perfectly fine.
